2. Transformation of the BSc Industrial Statistics Program
The Malaysian Qualification Agency has given its nod to a comprehensive overhaul of our undergraduate program, BSc Industrial Statistics. The program will now be rebranded as BSc Statistical Data Modelling, reflecting our dedication to staying at the forefront of industry demands. This evolution ensures that our graduates will have the skills to navigate the dynamic landscape of statistical analysis and data modelling.

3. Pacific Optimisation Conference 2023: A Resilient Return
After a two-year hiatus due to the global pandemic, we are thrilled to announce the return of the Pacific Optimisation Conference in December. The enthusiastic response to the conference signifies the resilience and eagerness of the academic community to reconnect and share insights. 5. Teaching Excellence Recognized: Honourable Mention at Poster Competition
Our commitment to educational excellence shines through as Chan Lay Guat and alumna Qian Yun Ng received an Honourable Mention (Top 10) at Sunway University's 2nd Teaching and Learning Poster Competition. 6. Launching the Masters of Applied Mathematics Program
The School of Mathematical Sciences proudly welcomed a new cohort of students into the Masters of Applied Mathematics program.
