Prof. Saidur Rahman from Research Centre for Nano-Materials and Energy Technology (RCNMET), School of Science and Technology in collaboration with researchers from Australia, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Japan, China, South Korea published a paper entitled “One-dimensional Sn(IV) hydroxide nanofluid toward nonlinear optical switching” in Materials Horizons with an impact factor 14.356.
Sunway University team qualified for the regional challenge at the HSBC/ Hong Kong University (HKU) Asia Pacific Business Case Competition 2020 when they emerged as the Champion. The event, organized by Enactus Malaysia and funded by HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad was held on 25 - 26 February 2020 in Kuala Lumpur.
Learning Links is a marketing effort, where high school students from all over Klang Valley are invited to come to Sunway University and attend workshops conducted by lecturers. The purpose of the workshops is to encourage these students to discover their interests and possible areas of studies.
The Malaysia National Youth Culinary Team comprising Sunway University School of Hospitality students Alicia Tay (23), Pang Jin Yong (23), Amanda Cheah (20), Tsen Jun Yan (20) and Amirul Ashraf (20), and Ilya Dayana (25) from Kolej Yayasan Pahang, brought home a gold medal for the “Restaurant of the Nations” category and a silver medal for the “IKA Buffet” category recently.
