The School of Hospitality (SOH) Research Seminar Series resumed its 3rd year of Research Seminar Series recently. Dr Mark Hampton from the University of Kent presented the seminar. He talked on the topic “Tourism, Economic Development & Poverty Alleviation: Lessons from South-East Asia”.
It was an exploration weekend with the School of Hospitality during Sunway University’s Open Day. A list of workshops and talks were lined up to engage with visiting parents and potential students to explore an academic journey in the School of Hospitality.
As part of the degree programmes subject module, all students are required to complete a one-year research project related to their field of study.
