Department of Psychology hosted talk by Prof Tomokazu Nakayama from Jissen Women’s University, Tokyo

The Department of Psychology at the School of Science and Technology, Sunway University hosted a talk on “Specific Methods to Promote Sentence Productions in Japanese English Learners” by Professor Tomokazu Nakayama on 6 December 2019. Prof Nakayama is from Center for Language Education and International Programs, Jissen Women’s University, Tokyo, Japan. The talk attracted 20 participants from Sunway University.

William Chew, co-founder of Mak Tok, and Sunway Psychology alumnus gives a talk at Sunway University

Passionate entrepreneur and Psychology alumnus of Sunway University, William Chew, recently returned from the UK for a talk on developing his brand of authentic Malaysian chili paste, Mak Tok. William became famous for his appearance on the BBC’s entrepreneurship TV series Dragons’ Den, and winning funding from one of the investor “dragons” on the show. The Sunway Ladies Basketball Team recently became ladies team champion for the second time in a row at the Majlis Sukan Institut Pengajian Tinggi Swasta (IPTS; Private Higher Education Institute Sports Council) MASISWA Malaysia Basketball Championship on 25 October 2019.
