Biography

Kavitha Rajendran majored in Biochemistry during her undergraduate degree and furthered her postgraduate study in Biotechnology at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. She joined Sunway University in 2006, teaching Biology for the Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY). She later transferred to the Centre of American Education in 2013, teaching Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Study. She has more than 12 years of experience in the education industry, working with different programmes and interacting with both local and international students. She completed her PhD at Sunway University under the Department of Biological Sciences, researching on chemotherapeutic drugs for amoebic infections. She is a self-directed, enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment to student development and the learning experience.
