Dedicated to Sunway University College/University: 8 Years

Favourite Subjects: Business Strategy, Operations Management, Quality Management, International Business, Management.

Experiences (read enjoyment): When students remember what I teach them and able to apply what they learned.

Work/Project: HSBC-Malaysia Business Case Competition 2016 and 2017 (although we did not win, I believe the students learned a lot about real world business situations and being competitive.

Current Appointment: Chair, Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM), i.e. “… encourage the development of an all-rounded student and their personal growth in the Global distributive and manufacturing industry with emphasis on developing Supply Chain know-how, skills and competencies.”

Achievements: Enrolled 21 students for the 1st Inaugural GSCM intake (Aug 2017). GSCM students attended a FIATA-FMFF Conference-cum-Exhibition at KLCC in October 2017.

Basically, to expose the GSCM students to:

  1. Workings of supply chain activities – outsourcing, customers’ trends, supply chain processes, planning effectiveness, physical distribution, and personal development.
  2. Supply Chain and Logistics companies with the aim of networking and for searching companies for both the internship placements and Final Year projects.

Other Interests: Food, Strategic thinking. Why companies fail?
