Principal Activities

Research
We conduct research into higher education and the enhancement of its quality. Topics of interest include expectations of stakeholders, access and equity, diversity of students, best practice teaching and learning approaches including the development and use of blended learning, global policy and governmental requirements, education for sustainability, the assessment of learning, and curriculum development.

Publications
We publish articles, books and book chapters that contribute to the research literature on higher education, and produce other scholarly output related to higher education.

Events
We organise symposiums and seminars to explore educational issues in higher education.

Consultancy
We undertake a range of consultancy projects on issues in higher education policy, management, teaching, educational quality, student learning and curriculum development, disciplinary identities, and the academic profession.

Training
We design and present training programmes on issues related to staff advancement in educational and organisational settings.
