Springboard Challenge 2023 Concludes

The Springboard Challenge 2023 held by Sunway University has concluded. This was a collaborative event by Sunway Financial Analysis Society led by Dr Chan Ling Foon, East Spring Investment and Troffee Education. The aim of the event was to exercise students' abilities in financial analysis, asset management, and investment analysis. This was the first event held by the society. The event was launched by Professor Sibrandes Poppema, President of Sunway University, and Ms Judy Yap, Director, Brand and Communications, Eastspring Investments Berhad.

The Springboard Challenge is a case simulation challenge. It includes decisions on stock investment. real estate investment, business investment, unit trust investment, and so forth. The top 5 winners of the Springboard Challenge Event held on 16 Oct 2023 are:


1st place - Muhammed Faheem Gafoor (BA (Hons) entrepreneurship)
2nd place - Lai Jun Hao (BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Studies)
3rd place - Chung Shu Wen (BSc (Hons) Financial Analysis)
4th place - Chong Cheng Leck (Bachelor of Business Analytics (Hons))
5th place - Cheong Wei Ling (BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance)
