SHSM Students Meet Group Managing Director of Alpine Integrated Solutions

The Diploma in Events Management (DEM) and BSc (Hons) Conventions and Events Management (BCEM) students recently had the opportunity to meet Ms Anita Jacobson, the Group Managing Director of Alpine Integrated Solutions. She shared about the event planning and execution involved in orchestrating the 16th edition of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, LIMA 2023.

BCEM students Ng Li Ting and Kasahara Ayano, who participated in the operation of LIMA 2023, also added valuable insights from a student perspective.

The interactive engagement proved to be immensely beneficial and insightful, especially for students who have the passion to join the events industry. As part of experiential learning, it is important to have professional perspectives which foster an environment for learning.
