Campus Visit by Indian Students: Hands-on Experience in Sunway Labs

The School of Medical and Life Sciences was delighted to host a group of young students (aged 13-16) who came all the way from T.I. School Ambattur, India. It was a great opportunity for them to explore our labs, and the school organised several activities for the day. Lecturers Dr. Ravinder Kaur and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yoon Yen Yow presented their respective research topics on hornbills and algae to the students, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Felicia Chung gave them a hands-on experience in the lab by guiding them through the step-by-step process of making their very own hand sanitizers. We thank Dr. Kavita Reginald, Norha Saifudin, and Christopher Ong for coordinating this visit.
