Sunway University’s professor bestowed Lifetime Achievement award

In last December, Distinguished Research Professor Saidur Rahman, Head of the Research Centre for Nano-Materials and Energy Technology (RCNMET) under the School of Science and Technology at Sunway University received the Lifetime Achievement – Awards for Publication Citation in the i-Proclaim Annual Research Awards (ARA).

The Award, which is based on the total number of citation according to Google Scholar Citations, shows Professor Saidur’s works have reached more than 18,000 citations. A prestigious Research Awards programme organised by ABC Malaysia, the Awards programme seeks to recognise the reward the outstanding performance, talent and effort of the best research contributors, PhD holders and agencies dealt with research and publication in the Asia and global context.

Last November, Professor Saidur was also listed as one of 2017 Highly Cited Researchers in the annual highly cited list published by Clarivate Analytics. Following the publication of the list, Professor Saidur’s achievement was highlighted and recognised in the Malaysian Higher Education Forum 2017 (MyHEF2017). Professor Saidur’s research interest focuses on fundamental studies and application of nanomaterials in energy systems.
