Congratulations to AP Dr Alvin Ng for winning the National Outstanding Educator Award 2017!
Congratulations to Associate Professor Dr Alvin Ng who won the National Outstanding Educator Award 2017 (University Category - Psychology) for his outstanding achievements, during the Private Education Excellence Awards 2017 in conjunction with Teachers Day Celebration 2017 organized by EduCoop (Private Education Co-operative Of Malaysia) on 20 May! His proud parents joined him to celebrate his award at the ceremony.
Dr Ng is widely recognised as an educator within the country as well as internationally. Has been winning awards of late, such as last year’s Sunway University Award for Excellence in Teaching 2016, and the 2015 International Conference on Applied Psychology Gold Medal for Best Presentation – Professional Category. He has been an invited keynote speaker at the International Congress of Clinical Psychology for three years in a row since 2015, and recently appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Norwich Medical School of the University of East Anglia in the UK, playing a role as an off-shore clinical supervisor to their doctoral trainees in clinical psychology. He is also a very much sought after public speaker on psychology topics and a regular consultant on LiteFM 105.7FM every Wednesday morning between 8.00am to 9.00am Lite Breakfast’s Mental Health Hour.
