Abstract
Europe and especially the Euro area have been in economic recovery since 2013 after a number of reforms. These reforms are not complete and in addition, new economic, social and political concerns have recently made the future prospects for Europe more uncertain. The lecture reviews recent European developments and discusses the present challenges in policy making.
