Ready, Set, Breathe!: Lung Cancer Awareness Charity Run

Lung cancer remains one of the most prevalent and deadly forms of cancer worldwide, with significant health implications and societal burdens. Through this fun run, we aim to shed light on this critical issue, dispel misconceptions, and emphasize the importance of regular health screenings and the early detection and prevention of lung cancer.

Join us in this 5KM Fun Run around Sunway City to spread awareness and raise funds for lung cancer research and for a chance to win some exciting prizes! We will also be having free health screenings from our Department of Nursing, and you can learn all about cancer early detection from experts at Lung Cancer Network Malaysia, National Cancer Council Malaysia (MAKNA, Majlis Kanser Nasional) and the Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Society of Malaysia. By enhancing public awareness, we believe we can make a tangible impact on the community by improving general health literacy in addition to lung cancer awareness. Our vision extends beyond the event itself, as we strive to build a network of support that continues long after the run concludes.
