Sunway University is teaming up with the National University of Malaysia (UKM) to introduce the Sunway University Medical Doctor programme. This partnership aims to revolutionise medical education in Malaysia by combining UKM's expertise with Sunway University's innovation.

The programme will focus on research and technology, training future doctors in clinical care and health innovations. Tan Sri Sir Jeffrey Cheah, founder of Sunway Group, believes this collaboration will shape the future of medical education in Malaysia and beyond.

Professor Sibrandes Poppema, President of Sunway University, sees this as an opportunity to create a programme that emphasises holistic development and care for both people and the planet, while Professor Dato' Gs. Ts. Dr. Mohd Ekhwan Hj. Toriman, Vice Chancellor of UKM, is proud of the partnership, highlighting its importance in serving the nation and its people.
