Malaysia SDG Webinar: Building Back Better: Eradicating Poverty and Promoting Inclusive Growth in Response to Covid-19

  This event has passed.

17th June, 2021 | 9.00AM-11.30AM GMT+8 | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a radical change in the social and economic fabric of our nation. Measures that were taken to curb the spread of the virus, while necessary, have had a negative impact on large segments of society. As vaccination rates rise nationwide and we begin the task of rebuilding what was lost, we now have the unique opportunity not merely to return to status quo, but to create a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive society for all. As we navigate the decade of action for the Sustainable Development Goals leading up to 2030, now is the time for the public sector, businesses, academia and civil society to come together and envision a better, brighter future for our people, nation, and the planet.

Join our panel of experts as they engage in a lively discussion on how to advance the goal of eradicating poverty and promoting inclusivity in the wake of the pandemic, with their unique perspectives drawn from their wealth of knowledge and experience in their respective sectors.
