Biography

Syed joined the School of Mathematical Sciences at Sunway University as a lecturer in February 2023. Syed received his PhD in the year 2022, with a focus on flood early warning systems using topological data analysis. Syed research interests include topological data analysis, early warning systems and extreme value theory. Prior to this, Syed tutored at the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at the National University of Malaysia.
