Sunway University’s School of American Education (SAE) has announced a landmark collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), marking a significant milestone in providing students with an enriched American education experience in Malaysia.

ASU, recognized as America’s most innovative university for nine consecutive years, brings its esteemed reputation and expertise to Sunway University, offering students access to top-notch U.S. degree programs in highly employable fields.

“We are honored to announce our exciting new collaboration with one of Malaysia’s top universities,” said Michael M. Crow, President of Arizona State University. “Sunway University shares our vision of delivering high-quality, global education to empower individuals to thrive and make a positive impact on our world.”

The partnership will see the introduction of innovative features to the American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP) at SAE, enhancing students’ academic journey with seamless credit transfers, high-quality curriculum, and international networks.

“We warmly invite students who have recently completed their SPM/IGCSE examinations to join us on this extraordinary academic journey,” expressed Prof Dato’ Elizabeth Lee, Group CEO of the Sunway Education Group.

Looking ahead, SAE plans to introduce complete degree programs with ASU, giving students the option to transfer to the ASU campus in the U.S. or continue their studies entirely in Malaysia via ASU Online, supported by SAE face-to-face engagement.

Through this collaboration, Sunway students will have access to a more robust American learning experience, including global signature courses, research collaboration, and international exchanges, preparing them for successful global careers.
