The Mechanical Engineering programme is a modern, project-based degree which aims to produce graduates who address the Grand Challenges for Engineering and the UNSDGs. As a project-based degree, our students will Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate at least 4 engineering systems (or projects) throughout their degree, with at least 2 of such projects being based on real-life industry challenges. Their projects will address the Grand Challenges and the UNSDGs.

The programme aims to provide graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in Geriatric Medicine to deal with the increase in global population aging and increased complexity in the field of medicine. This program will contribute to developing competent and skilled medical practitioners who have a caring and holistic approach in managing older patients.

Communications and Media are an ever growing and changing part of the world we live in. Be it Netflix, Facebook, Instagram, your favourite online game, or an interactive installation you just saw in a museum, media messaging is a part of your life. Today, these messages are formulated around narratives. In all forms of media, we see the shaping of messages through the narratives of branding. We will investigate these concepts of media through this framework of narratives. We will look at how contemporary media has developed narratives as an organising principle and what that means for society.
