The Electronic and Electrical Engineering degree programme is concerned with electrical and electronic equipment, interfaces and communications. Electrical engineering tends to focus on larger scale electrical equipment and power, whilst electronic engineering is more focused on smaller scale electronic circuits and devices, computer and communication systems. It gives a fascinating insight into how electrical devices and technology work as a preparation for a future that will likely be full of new electrical and electronic technologies.

The Mechanical Engineering programme is a modern, project-based degree which aims to produce graduates who address the Grand Challenges for Engineering and the UNSDGs. As a project-based degree, our students will Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate at least 4 engineering systems (or projects) throughout their degree, with at least 2 of such projects being based on real-life industry challenges. Their projects will address the Grand Challenges and the UNSDGs.
