Biography

Asyraf is a dynamic language instructor with a great passion for teaching English using multimodal approaches and instructional strategies to learners from various backgrounds. He comes with broad experience in teaching English at different institutions and vocations. 

Asyraf believes in his students’ inherent capacity to learn, and with the right mode of instruction, he believes his students are able to maximise their learning potential. An advocate for inclusivity, neurodiversity, and learning disabilities, he places great emphasis on equity in education for all in his career. His research interests include scaffolding and language acquisition, curriculum design, instructional strategy, and e-learning.

  1. One of the lead authors for the National Oversight and Whistleblowers (NOW) Malaysia – spearheaded this pioneer project to publish a handbook of whistleblowing guidelines to corporations and institutions in Malaysia.
