Congratulations to Distinguished Professor Saidur Rahman, Head of Research Centre for Nano-Materials and Energy Technology who received the Commercially Important Person (CIP) Award by the Bangladesh Government for the outstanding contribution to the economy of Bangladesh on 18 December, 2022.
Prof Alvin Ng Lai Oon from the Department of Psychology at the School of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University, is part of a research team that was awarded the funding of MYR 3.7 million for a 3-year psychosocial intervention study on at-risk secondary school students. The project is led by Prof Cecilia Essau of the University of Roehampton, UK, who is known for her effective school-based programme, Super Skills for Life. The team comprises academics from British, Spanish, and Malaysian universities.
