School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Sunway University welcomed and received students and staff from Singapore Temasek Polytechnic on the 8th November 2022. The dean of SET, Prof Serge Demidenko welcomed the visitors and shared about the how Sunway University has embarked on Engineering education to produce more professionals that will help build a more sustainable future.

He also emphasised on the importance of collaboration and welcomed any future collaboration between Temasek Polytechnic and Sunway University. The Head of Department of Engineering, Prof. Sian Lun Lau introduced the Sunway University and SET to the visitors and shared about roles of engineers in building a smart and sustainable city.

The session continued with an interactive session of ice breaking between the students from School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University and School of Engineering, Temasek Polytechnic. SET is happy to host visitors from School of Engineering, Temasek Polytechnic and looking forward to future discussions that may lead to good collaborations like bootcamps and projects.
