A joint submission by Professor Mohamed Kheireddine Aroua, who leads the Research Centre on Carbon Dioxide Capture and Utilisation at Sunway University's School of Engineering & Technology, and Professor Mohamed Azlan Hussain from the University of Malaya, has won the prestigious Innovative R&D Award (International Institutions Award) at the third Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award.
Following the initiative and efforts of the School of Mathematical Sciences, we are excited to announce that Sunway University and Ipsos Malaysia, a global market research and consulting firm, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish collaborative partnerships and further develop research, engagement, and education initiatives!

On February 15th, music students from the University of Tasmania visited Sunway University, where they attended lectures presented by Sunway academics on Malaysian cinema and music.
On February 14th, Dr. Adrian Lee from the Department of Film and Performing Arts directed an interview session with Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza in collaboration with Sunway Business School.
Dr. Fiona Wong produced an original piece of artwork titled "Soaring High" using ink and acrylic paint on canvas.
As a keynote speaker at the ASEAN Education Cities Conference (AECC) on the 11th and 12th of February, Dr. Goh Yi Sheng from the Department of Art, Design, and Media unveiled the trailer for "UNDERSTAND".
On February 3rd, Sunway University signed MoUs with Euroasia Association of Performing Arts and Trinity College London.
During the period 27 February to 2 March, Distinguished Professor David A. Bradley (Head, Research Centre for Applied Physics and Radiation Technologies, SET), met in Doha together with other members of the QEERI Scientific Advisory Committee, SAC. This group of six appointees, offering perspectives covering the activities of QEERI, has among its membership individuals from as far west as Denver to as far east as Japan.
