As an individual with no HRM background, I gained a deep understanding of how a functional and successful HRM system can add value to organizations. This Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) -accredited course offers a wide range of modules (e.g. Developing Skill for Business Leadership, Legal Aspects of Industrial Relations) which are extremely useful for an individual to gain insights on how HRM operates in the real world. Despite spending most of the lesson on virtual platform due to the pandemic, I still had an amazing time interacting and working with my classmates on various group projects. Additionally, the lecturers equipped us with the relevant knowledge of the industry and how we can tackle HRM challenges faced in a globalized world. For those who are interested in HRM, I would highly recommend you to apply for this course as you would learn a lot.

When I began my academic journey, I chose to become a Sunwayian. Upon completing my master's degree, I can proudly say it was the right choice.
