ASEAN is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world and its biodiversity is also one of the most threatened. The main goal of this project is to provide strategic recommendations to address biodiversity decline and achieve the 2050 Vision for Biodiversity set out by the Convention of Biological Diversity (CBD).

The project utilized the 8i Nature-Centric Ecosystem Framework as the main foundation to (i) analyze the current strengths and gaps in the ASEAN biodiversity landscape, and to (ii) create strategic measures and recommendations.
