Sunway University in Agreement with St. Cloud State University

Professor Graeme Wilkinson, Vice-Chancellor of Sunway University and Earl H. Potter III, President of St. Cloud State University, Minnesota, USA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today. The MoU paves the way for further partnerships and collaborations between the two institutions which includes faculty, student and research exchange as well as enable students from Sunway University’s American Degree Transfer Program to transfer credits to complete their degree at St. Cloud State University.

Sunway University and Sunway Education Group’s Student Services Department in collaboration with Sunway Medical Centre recently organised conference on mental health, themed “Getting Mental: Wellbeing Beyond Self”.

Sunway University hosts first GAPS Conference in Asia

Sunway City, 7 October – The Global Access to Post-Secondary Education (GAPS) Conference was officially launched yesterday at Sunway University. Themed ‘Meeting the Global Challenge’, the three-day conference from 5 October to 8 October 2015 addressed the role of access to post-secondary education in Asia and the South Pacific.

Equity in Access

In today’s age of advancement and progress, it is important for countries to strive to provide access for their citizens to tertiary or post-secondary education. However, opportunity for access is not distributed equally in many parts of the world, especially in East Asia.
