Sunway University’s Business and Management Studies has climbed up 50 places (from being ranked between 451 – 500 in 2020) to its current rank, 401 – 450 in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021.
The end of 2020 saw the inaugural cohort of 12 medical doctors completed their training in the Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care for Elderly (PGDPCE) programme, under the Department of Medical Sciences at the School of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University.
Yong Joon Yee, a second year MSc Life Sciences student recently won a grant of USD$3,000 from Bat Conservation International (BCI), and an additional USD$500 as an award winner of the Verne and Marion Read Bat Conservation Honor.
The Chancellor of Sunway University, on the recommendation of the President and the Vice-Chancellor, has agreed to appoint Dr Elizabeth Lee as Professor at Sunway University for her lifelong dedication and commitment to the field of education.
The year 2021 brings forth a new school at Sunway University the School of Medical and Life Sciences (SMLS). It combines the former School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) with two departments and two research centres from the former School of Science and Technology (now renamed School of Engineering and Technology).
