Sunway University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University Technology Sarawak to explore areas of research, educational innovation, entrepreneurship, PhD training and leadership programs.

“Information source and tourist expenditure: Evidence from Sarawak, Malaysia” has just been published in Current Issues in Tourism, an A-ranked journal by Routledge.

The Kuala Lumpur office will serve as SDSN's Asia Headquarters, working closely with our offices in New York and Paris, as well as regional Networks and partners, to advance SDSN's global mission, with a particular focus on promoting sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific.

The students enrolled for the subject Cuisine and Culture of Malaysia, led by Ms Anisha Chai, undertook a three-day trip to Kuantan, the capital city of the state of Pahang, from 28 to 30 October.

Together with the Malaysian Red Cresent Society (MRCS) the degree students of the School of Hospitality and Service Management participated in a two-day volunteer programme in supporting medical needs of the refugee community.

It was a fruitful sharing session, insightful information was shared by Sunway Business School Alumni Wayne Lim, the CEO of Jaesoul.co and 金投与你 The Golden Stock, and Joanne Chan Cheng Wei, the Co-Founder of Alocha Kombucha.
