Siti Fariza joined Sunway University in 2012 and is now the Director of University Services since 2016. She leads the University Services Department which oversees and coordinates operational services in the University. University Services' main role is to ensure that operational and customer service excellence are delivered across all schools and departments, which include moving forward specific University's initiatives, transforming operational strategies and monitoring student experience in the University.

In fulfilling this, she works closely with the Deans, the Group Registrar and the Directors of Shared Services, mostly via the school managers and other managers in the shared services departments, to ensure effective operation of the administration across the schools and academic departments.

Along with the above, she also has an oversight responsibility of the Content Unit of the University, mainly on the website content and overall content management.

Prior to holding this position, she was the Head of Academic Policy & Quality Assurance Office where she managed the overall expectations pertaining to the academic quality assurance and enhancement in Sunway University.

She graduated from Syracuse University, New York, in BSc Computer Science (Summa Cum Laude) in 1996 and later received her Master Specialist in Aeronautics and Space Techniques degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace (SUPAERO), Toulouse, France, in 2000.

Prior to joining Sunway University, she undertook a range of different administrative and academic roles. She started her career as a Systems Analyst in Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd. Following an academic staff fellowship at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), she pursued her Master’s degree in France and later joined USM as a lecturer and took up the Programme Chairman’s role in one of the schools in USM Engineering campus. She then joined Malaysia University of Science and Technology as a Senior Lecturer and was later appointed as the Registrar of the University.
