About The Programme

For students who have the desire to pursue an education in Events Management, this programme provides a good, rounded overview of this discipline where students learn strong fundamentals and the practical knowledge and skills of planning and execution of events. This knowledge and skills acquired will help you have a seamless transition into the workplace, ensuring that you become highly employable.

While acquiring the theory-side of the programme, you will also learn how to apply the theories through practical attachments. Periods of attachment to event companies will enhance your skills via experiential learning. While working on projects, students will also pick up solid theoretical and conceptual frameworks for understanding the nature, characteristics and role of events. Ultimately, the learning of crucial technical skills will lead to the development of key practical business skills involved in designing, marketing and managing events.

Students will gain essential practical experience through a 20-week industry internship. This diploma is accredited by Le Cordon Bleu and upon the successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded two certificates; one from Sunway University and another from Le Cordon Bleu.

Entry Requirement

  • SPM / SPMV / O-Level: Pass with minimum 3 credits
  • UEC: Pass with minimum 3 Grade Bs
  • English Language Requirement:
    Sunway Intensive English Programme (IEP) Level 3
    Cambridge English (First) 50 and above
  • Other Qualifications:
    Any other qualifications will be considered on a case-to-case basis
