About The Programme

The nursing profession offers many employment and career opportunities. In Sunway University, we prepare our students for a diverse and rewarding profession that combines compassion with the latest healthcare technology.

Our Diploma in Nursing ensures that students acquire skills in treating, rehabilitating, counselling and educating patients, their families and the community. They work as members of the healthcare team in providing holistic care to patients. This programme ensures that Sunway University nursing graduates emerge as professionals who are capable, caring and knowledgeable when treating those in need of assistance.

The theory and practical assessments will be conducted in each semester throughout the 3-year programme. Students are required to pass the Sunway University final year examination before they can sit for the Malaysian Nursing Board Registration Examination.
