2. To create significant transdisciplinary collaborations and catalyse new partnerships with key local and international centres, labs and institutes
3. To motivate a new generation of students and researchers in the domain of creative digital media, merging core attributes of the arts,sciences, humanities, media and technology.

Area 1: Post-Digital Media Research-Creation. This research theme bears a special relationship to the<br> rest as the focus and overall direction for content creation is based on this theme.
Area 2: Digital Heritage and Culture. This research theme is explored with the components of high fidelity image and sound capture, processing, post-production re-presentation and high definition-immersive display.
